As you can see, this is a club for anybody and everybody who loves Crowfeather. You don't have to participate in the contests or draw or write about the WindClan warrior to be a part of the club. Just put us on your watch list and send us a note to let us know that you've joined. It's not mandatory that you put our icon in your journal or link to us in your siggy, but we will give you a if you do. Also, please understand that noting us is guaranteed to get you a faster response than sending messages. For all the information on the club, go to this journal.

Contest Closed!

Hiya everyone! I know, it's been forever since we've been updating. Terribly sorry about that; Brambs is currently AWOL (uhm... just kidding, we just don't know where she is ) and I've been a little inactive. Me and Brighty are trying to do our best; our current project is my contest, Winter Festivities. (If you didn't know, the contest ended last month on the 24th, unless you were given an extension.) All the entries should have been counted below, with the categories. If your entry is not shown or the category's missing, please note the club with the subject "K-Contest Category" or "K-Contest Entry" (or something similar). We'll be wrapping everything up; I'll prepare a voting sheet soon.

Winter Festivities Contest!

To enter, please follow all rules and requirements as posted below. Remember the contest ends January 24th, giving you a over a month to submit entries. If a extended deadline is needed, please send a note titled "K-extension", and up to three days extension may be given, depending on circumstances. Thanks!

1. For this contest, Kiwi and I have decided to give you almost complete free reign over the pictures, on a few conditions. You may pick any of the following category guidelines to follow while making your picture, and you may merge elements of one or two if you wish, but stay true to the overall rules, listed below the categories:

Snow Scenes Of course, you must have Crowfeather in the picture, no matter which category you choose, but for this category, Crowfeather must be doing something involving snow. What exactly? It's up to you! He can be making snow angels, having snowball fights, of just standing around in a snow-covered camp; just have fluffy white stuff in the picture and you're good.

Holiday Celebrations If you DON'T celebrate Christmas, your picture would go in this category, (Christmas people, we have more than one category for you). Here you can use any element of the holiday you do celebrate and incorporate it in the picture. Crowfeather gazing through a window watching a family light the menorah? Perfect! Crowfeather in the woods under a Christmas tree? Not in this category, sorry.

Holy Christmas For those of you really religious people who know every single scene from the Bible, you can do something like Crowfeather traveling with the Three Wise Men or watching Jesus be born if you want, just don't do anything to offend people of other religions. Got it?

Christmas in the City/Country Take your pick: City or Country? Crowfeather can be a kittypet for this brief contest period if you want him to be. Anything Christmassy but human-like can be used here. I.E. presents, decorated trees, stores with Christmas sales, Santa Claus, fireplaces, stockings, candy canes, etc. You get the point.

Christmas in the Clans Here's more of a "woodland Christmas" thing: You can have the Clans celebrating Christmas in their own way... Decorating pine trees, giving fresh-kill as gifts, giving gifts while cats sleep... You can adapt Christmas to fit in the Clans if you use this category.



2. All entries must depict Crowfeather, with, or without, any other cats. If you choose to add others, please remember they must have some link within the series to Crowfeather. Example: Nightcloud, Ashfoot, Feathertail, Leafpool, Breezepaw, Heatherpaw, Jaypaw, Hollypaw, Onestar, etc. Not random cats just because they look cute please!

3. Entries must be submitted (preferably by note, titled "Contest Entry") by no later than January 24th, unless extension is given.

4. Please do not submit entries that require downloading to be viewed at full size. No animations allowed if you wish them to be shown on the voting sheet.

5. No rude or offensive content to people of other religions or beliefs, and don't use someone else's idea. If they submitted it first, or told us in advance, they are the ones who get to use it, and if you are caught using the same idea, you will not be able to enter the contest.

6. Be creative! We are extending absolute free reign on this one! Just be sure to tell us in the A. author's comments, B. note submitting the deviation, C. message submitting the deviation, or D. in advance which category you're entering the picture in, so we can tell if you followed the rules or not. (Although all pictures will still be voted on in the same way, regardless of the category.)

This time, ~kiwipeaches will be hosting the contest, so to make our lives easier, address all notes as "K-contest". If for any reason you can't contact the club, note her, but TRY THE CLUB FIRST! Chances are, we'll respond.
